That was my experience for sure. Every post I inserted pics of this mount I said what a PITA it was to install. I had to grind some parts and actually fab an extension bracket for the upper mount. You have to remove the factory tow hooks!
It took a lot of trying to figure out how to put it together, the main mounts go on the outside of the frame rails, the upper mounts go under the radiator, the plastic under bumper dam had to be notched to clear the main mounts. Some of the oem nuts with washers had to have the washers ground down to fit in the holes in the main mount....etc etc etc
good luck! I do hope you can make it work, it's nice once it's installed.

yea, my brackets aren't even close...
how do you make a production part that doesn't work at all? not impressed...
verd... thanks for pics and getting back to me. The pics help, my main brackets have to be on the inside, but nothing still lines up.
but seeing this i will be contacting the seller and milemarker... this thing shouldn't be sold... i wouldn't put my name on it...

Have you gotten any resolution to your mounting problem yet? I would turely like to know.
Mile marker makes a nice hydraulic winch but thier mount really really sucks as far as installation goes!
Too bad you're so far away I would help you install it.

[QUOTE=verdesardog;3066522]I do still have the tow hooks.
Oh no you don't
Thanks again, pleasure doing business with you.
To all of you out there, if you are ever wanting to buy anything from Verdesardog have no worries, received the aforementioned hitches in just 2 days, and you should have seen the supports he fabbed up to ship them safely,
Ups et al could learn a thing or 2 from this guy
