Tough Looking Ball Joints.
I just picked up a set of four XRF ball joints for my 2006 4x4. They are far less money than the $1100.00 set that are being sold out of California.
These look better than Moog and Spicer units and I have talked to many shops who won't touch Moog stuff.
If I bought the Carli units they would run me $1300.00 Canadian dollars for four. The XRF cost me $260.00 Canadian dollars for all four. I will post a photo of them when I get a chance later.

They do NOT come close to the durability of the Carli Joints.Take them apart and put them side by side.Many many differences

cant afford nor do i really need the carli's, just looking for the best quality ball joints for the money. any info? you had to put a stock style joint in the bottom what did you use?

I called the company and they put me in contact with T&T Auto Parts in Pitt Meadows British Columbia. T&T Auto parts is only an hour drive from my house so I drove over and grabbed them.
I don't care if the Carli ball joints are better than XRF units but the guys at XRF told me why they are better than Spicer, Moog and others.
They said the surface area the ***** have are to small for the heft of our trucks. They made the surface area as large are constraints would allow and then used a ultra high grade of steel polished smooth.
They said others use a lower grade of steel and then heat treat it.
I know a guy in the logging industry with a set in his truck with over 60,000 miles on XRF units and not one problem. Thats why I looked them up.

Truth is nobody knows anything about Carli or XRF ball joints only word of mouth and what the sellers tell you. I am sure Carli joints are nice but the price is way off side .
If I get only double the life I got from the stock units I would be happy but from the looks of them I should get far more.
