Arrow Tire Pressure and Ride

So I am tired of this bouncing all over the road and I think lowering my pressure will help with that. How low should I go? will the lower pressure effect my economy?

I run 40 in the real and 45 in the front, when towing 70 rear and 50 front, this works for me, and I dont see much if any mileage change. This is what it says on the inside of my drivers door.

I run 55 psi front and 50 psi empty. Ride is fine and mileage is fine. My factory BFG tires have 50k on them and look like new. I run 80 psi rears and 60 psi front when towing the 5th wheel. When we unhook and use the truck for site seeing we can really tell how rough the ride is at those pressures.

42 front, 45 rear around town. If I go on a road trip, or haul, I air up according to the load.

I use my truck as daily driver and tow weekends. I asked my service guys about what I should do... I don't want to be changing pressures back and forth all the time. THey set them to 70 all the way around!

I run mine at 65 all the way around. The suspensions work better with out the extra springing of soft tires.

I have gone 80 psi and picked up maybe a half mile per gallon over the standard settings. Take a look at the psi recommended on the tag on your door, they work fine for me.

Depends allot on the tires, I am running the 285/75/17 toyos I have been playing with pressure for a few weeks. Anything higher then 55f 45r empty the ride is to hard, lower then 50f 40r and it bounces to much. I have found 53f 43r gives a good ride, got 20.5 mpg at 70mph on a 300 mile trip one way and the foot print is very even.

If I tow I bump up the rear depending on the weight.

Best bet is to try adjusting the pressure around, start at 70 and take out 10 lbs to see how it works. Key is only change pressure when the tires are cold from sitting all night. So each morning reset the pressure and try it.
