Tire Mileage - Yokohama HTS vs Firestone HT

I am buying a set of tires tomorrow (for my 06 4wd quad cab) and need a bit of help with the tread life of the Yokohama Geolandar HTS vs the Firestone Transforce HT. I am looking for the best treadwear (highway use) out of the two and hoping that someone can help with their mileage experience with either tire I have searched and had luck with tread life. info

Thank you,
Bart

I really can not tell you, yet. I am running the Geolanders right now. I have had them on for about a year now. Seems to be wearing nicely. Factory fuzzy sticks are still on the side walls and I just turn 10,000 miles on them. One warning would be that they are a little bit loose on ice, but could be corrected with some sipes.

I only run Firestone HT.

I have used these tires on my Ford and this dodge.

I get about 120,000 or more on the fronts and about 85,000 on the duals. I usually do not bother with rotations.

I tow quite alot of miles.

Currently have 454,700 on the truck and will be needing to replace the rears in about 15,000 to 20,000 miles.

As it ended up I had to go out of town and I was not able to get back in time to get my tires yet, but after Roadmedics post I'm glad had to put it off. Makes the choice an easier one once you see someone getting good results out of a product.

Thanks fellas,
