I have 40k on my Toyo OC AT's now and probably can go another 5k. Most likely I'll swap out sometime next year due to age (8 years).

Either the Nitto Dura Grappler or Crosstek will be the replacements.

Got almost 80K out of the Michelin stock tires but they had so little traction (even new) that I could get stuck in one inch of mud.

I have run Toyo MT 285/70/17 and 25 to 30k max not worth it to anyone and for all the non towing 40k miles happy for you.
I use my truck towing, off road all of it.
Please try Toyo M-55 in 275/70/18 its a 33.6 tall and will last 40k to 50k towing, climbing you name it.

Nitto Dura Grappler in 285-75-17 lasted me 75,000 miles
Just replaced them today with exact same tire... Smooth, quiet, very tough, good price... I love them

I sold my last truck with Michelin XPS traction that had 50K miles on them and they had good tread left, prob about 2/3 gone.
I have two friends that have gotten 60K out of the LTX MS and they are still going stong, So I went with them on my new truck.
No they are not mud tires, and they are not Snow tires, but thats why I have 4x4...

I'm reading some of your mileage claims and it's unreal I can't hardly get 50k out of anything on mine

I have 29k on the Terra Grapplers I bought in Nov 2009. I am thinking forward to new tires already maybe this fall.

I want ATs but none on the market get "great!" reviews. It seems they are all ho-hum and each has some kind of compromise or horror story. I'm also considering the DuraTracs (though I kind of want out of Nitto after these TGs) and Mich AT2.

Have 33K on Terra Grapplers and June will be 2 years. Texas heat, hwy and in town driving, pulling bumper hitch cattle trailer and driving thru the farm/gravel roads, etc.. and they are almost DONE.

Need new tires now and came here looking for alternatives, doubt Nitto's are going back on.
