Go to this site http://www.hemitruckclub.com/ (yes I know its a hemi site but bear with me here) and look on the left hand side towards the top and you can download the factory repair manual for your truck for Free. I didn't look before I posted this but I'll bet it will tell you how to remove it....Oh and in case you haven't done that before all you do is open it and let it download (time will vary depending on connection) and when it finishes click the "save a copy" button at the top left and tell it where to save it to. Thanks for the info it worked. Does any one know a site for a 2003 2500 ctd service manual. That would be some good info.

Same place mentioned before.

This thread will likely get deleted or severely edited because of information related to copyright infringement. So, if anyone chooses to go that route (i.e., download the manual), don't expect to come back here and re-read this thread to find the site.

HMMM, didn't think anything about it being wrong to post this, it's on other Dodge sites about where to find the manual, thats how I found it and they have several model years posted right on the main page so it looks like it's something they've had on there for awhile . Anyway if the adminstrators want to deleate or edit the post I wont mind, I appreicate the way this site is ran and the quality of the guys and gals that frequent the board, I wouldn't want to take away from that... Yea, the '03 link on that page gives you a .pdf for the Service Manual for all model and engine combinations of the Ram. But if you click on the '04 link, you get a new webpage that you can view some additional docs for the '04, like diagnostics for the powertrain, body and chassis.

I don't see where that info is available in an online file for the '03. But if anyone might have a hint, or could send a private message, that would be much appreciated!
