Started to get in my truck yesterday-reached up to pull on the door handle and noticed that it was loose. Checked the passenger side and it was the same way. The back handkes are tight against the door. You can pull the door handle 1/8&quot; away from the door. Took the door to my dealer and got him to check. Dealer said that that was the way that the 2003 doors were---they all have play in them. Has anyone else noticed this with their doors? Sort of ticked me off to be told that they would not do anything about this problem since &quot;all the 2003 style bodies were like this&quot;. I just can't believe that something like this would be allowed to leave the factory that way. <br><br>Love this site and the information that I have picked up. Thanks for your help in advance.

 

That dealer has sawdust between his ears. my door handles are tight. It is easy to remove the door panel, just a couple of screws. Slide the panel up to remove. There is a polyethylene moisture barrier that needs to be partially removed near the door handle. Only a couple of nuts that need to be tightened. <br><br>The dealer is the third nut that is too tight already.
