Actualy automovtive thermostats are and have been design to fail/break partialy open.Hadn't heard of or seen a overheat due to a thermosat in couple decades.Seen lots of check engine lights and codes for running too cold and the t/stats were busted in the open postion.Never have read a post on this site or any others about a Cummins running hot and a stuck t/stat.Have any of you?
