Load range D.

Max speed 75mph?

Besides that seems like a good deal.

Best i can its an all steel construction tire...like medium and heavy duty truck tires, like the 19.5's and 22.5's as well as the few heavy light truck tires like the michelin XPS series. All of those are 75 mph rated as well

Toyo now makes the Open Country MT in the 285/75R17 E but for some reason it has a less load rating then its AT counterpart. It has a rating of 3195 lbs. @80 psi where as the At is 3970 lbs. @ 80psi. and the MT is a lot more expensive that the AT and the 295/70R17 E Open Country MT.

not an expert but had a dually and did some searches that proved the answer to be no not unless you like changing blown tires

get the 265/70/17 toyo's you only need a 1/4" spacer and you stick with your stock studs and they are load range E.

hell even if there were more options like 265/75 or 285/75 (toyo is the only one on that one.)
In light of rising fuel costs,a 255-85-17 would work perfectly as a highway tire for us. My G-56 is geared sooo low,it sucks.

There are a few guys on this site that say they have ran 285's with out a spacer or a 1/4" spacer and have had no problems. But I am still yet to see pics.

The 285/75 should be the same width as a 285/70, just a little taller.
