Taking truck to dealer tomorrow

I have an 06 QC 4x4. I am taking my truck to the dealer because I received a advisory notice for something to do with the rear drive line clearance. My question is while it's in there I was wanting to get it re flashed for hard starting and white smoke on start up. What are the flash no for these? I am also going to have them recalibrate the speedo for my 295/70/17, which I heard they can only go up to a 285/70/17 is this still true? Oh and going to have them activate the high idle so I can warm it up faster with the cruise control, is that free?

You are now dealing with the service department and not the sales department, so don't assume anything is free. I had the high idle enabled on mine for free, but I asked my salesman about it and he had one of the techs come over and take care of it. It only takes a couple of minutes to do, but some service dept's charge for it.

They should be able to set the tire size properly by using rev's per mile for your tire. You may want to have that number with you when you go in. Again, don't assume it will be free.

I would also like to know about the advisory notice and whether it is specific to certain vehicles.

I do not think there's a flash for '06, but I have read about the driveline TSB

TSB's for 06 are at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...sb/results.cfm
Something about rear impeller shafts possibly machined incorrectly.
