im doing alittle research and im seeing you can get a trackbar drop bracket, instead of a whole adj. trackbar. has anyone had any success with this? it will be used with a leveling kit. ive heard from a friend, as well as read on here that without some kind of modification to the trackbar you ruin your tires as well as some front end components.

If a track bar drop bracket is used I've found out from our other members here that is a good idea to have it welded on because you just can't get the bolts tight enough to stop all movement. Any movement in your track bar can lead to poor handling and possibly the dreaded death wobble. I just had my drop bracket welded on last week, and my Don Thuren track bar is in the mail.

I don't think anyone makes a trackbar drop bracket for a leveling kit, at least I don't recall ever seeing one. I have seen homemade ones, and I have seen people that have re-drilled the frame mount.

What happens is when you lift the front, the front axle gets pulled over to the drivers side. It's not much with a 2" spacer. With an adjustable trackbar, you can lengthen it to recenter the front axle.

A bad alignment and heavier tires and wheels are going to be harder on the front tires and front end componets.
