Stupid me, should I worry?
So I did something stupid the other day. Not going into many details I have been driving for the past 4 days with the turbo sucking air straight from the engine compartment (no through filter). Not too many miles maybe 100 or so.
Should I worry? Should I do something?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

look at the compressor vanes. do they look sandblasted? dirty, such as evidence of mud, water, dirt, debris entering? if not, if truck seems to up to normal power, running normally, boost pressure the same, stop worrying. there isnt much you can do about it, what is done is done.
if no evidence of damage, hook it back up, shut the hood on your hand to teach yourself never to do that again, and go on.
