steering stabilizer

Installed a Rancho bolt on steering stabilizer tried the unit for one week removed installed stock unit. The stock unit is valved firmer save your money replace with stock on the steering stabilizer. I think the Rancho RS5412 steering stabilizer is the Monroe SC2964 with out the rubber boot painted white or silver the Monroe is half the price. The valving is to soft with big tires.

I agree with you. I think the stock steering stablizers are a lot better than a lot of people think. They ain't a prudy color or have a fancy name but I think they do a great job.

I guess you just buy the shock-socks rubber covers from Rancho instead... Not very often the OEM gets the thumbs up..

Defiant has a nice single stabilizer that is as good or better than stock. Oh yeah and it has a dust cover too!

The problem with the defiant stabilizer is it an emulsion shock. On my brothers 05 he replaced his defiant stabilizer with the carli bilstein and no more death wobble. If any one wants a good deal on the defiant stabilizer PM me, it collecting dust in the garage.
