No shock. Leather seats and factory Michelin tires.
94 Ford Explorer with cloth seats shocks every time. Several different sets of tires since new. Has aftermarket stereo, amp and alarm....dunno if that matters.

i think it's the fact that you slide your caboose over to the edge of the seat, why you don't get it in other cars.
i've got some weird way of closing mine now, it's so automatic, i can't even remember how it is. think i use my sleeve ?

Sorry I didn't respond for a while, I didn't say notify me of responses to this thread. What I was saying in my earlier post was that I grab the metal to the left of my windshield as I get out. I don't actually grab the door, it's the A pillar I use to help me out of the truck. I do this specifically because I always end up grounded before I finish sliding across the seat, so I don't get shocked. It's also a convenient way to help lever myself out.

I get the ever loving ---- shocked out of me everytime I get out. time for some anti-static spray, dryer sheets, and maybe a grounding strap!
