Stacks in CA

Are smoke stacks legal in Ca, I see them everyonce in a while ( not very often). But i can just image what the cops in Ca would do with black smoke billowing out of some stacks in my bed.

I've got 2 trucks in my area that I know of, soon to be 3.

I've been ticketed for too much noise.

The CHP said he could hear me over the 18 wheeler in the slow lane.
