Squeak

A couple of years ago I had a squeak I couldn't identify. Turned out to be my track bar had loosened up. Replaced it with a Carli adjustable track bar when I put on my Dyna track free spin hubs. No more squeak.

Well. Still no luck. Had another shop look it over, BJ's, u-joints, was told everything looked fine. Other than the shop recommending a front brake job, nada... They did believe the squeak was coming from the rear, but couldn't isolate it. So, just drive it till something grenades or be preemptive and just replace the rear u-joint?

Well, found my squeak... It was my brand new Carli full spring packs. My buddy decided to check them, process of elimination, so we inflated my long travel bags, cleaned out what we could and lubricated the friction pads between the leafs. Squeak completely gone.. Never would have thought.
