Speedo recalibrate

Left My 06 at the dealer for a reflash for hardstart and asked to recal the speedo. The tech told me he would get it as close as he could but could only use sizes from production sizes. When I picked it up he said he used a 305 somethin r 22 that he thought was eqiv to a 33' I am runnin 315 70 17 bfgs is he right is this as close as he can get. how far off am I and how far off am I 5mph just driving it feels like more.

I just had mine done for Cooper ATR 315/70/17's...I had to call Cooper for the revolutions per mile which was/is 606. They can put an exact number in for the tires...with the scan tool it's under ABS...they have to select "other" and enter the number there.

Threadjack.

Does anyone know, offhand, if the revs per mile setting in the Edge Attitude adjusts the speedo, or just uses it for it's own programming and the recordings?

with the attitude it only will show the right speed on the attitude. It does not change the speedometer or odometer.

'06 doesnt have the rev per mile type calibration. Im runnin 315 70 17 and he said the same thing about being close as he could. My GPS says im about 2-3 mph fast at 65-75.

Tuco are you a 6 speed or an auto? If you were a stick when you upgraded your tires what differeces did you notice?

I just put 315's on this week and with my G56 i didnt notice much power loss all. Its much nicer on the interstate now i know that. I just wish the dealers could reprogram the speedo correctly instead of charging my $107 to get "close".
