Speaker Polarity?

Speaker Polarity?
I installed a set of Rockford 6x9 3-way speakers today in the front door of my 2004.5 2500.
I have the standard radio. No infinity, nothing extra.
On the passenger side door I checked and it appeared the blue wire was the postive wire. However, when I did the drivers side I didn't check the polarity. I took the wire that looked like it had a blue strip and used it as the postive wire. Now I'm wondering if I got it right. Does anyone know what the wire codes are? Is there an easy way to tell if it's wired correctly without pulling the door skins back off? For example, when I power on the radio should the speaker move outwards?

1) You could buy an Audio Test CD which should contain a track that toggles between "in phase" and "out of phase" audio, usually a human voice announcing the phase followed by a short burst of pink noise. Out of phase speakers are quite evident when you immediately hear an in phase signal. The human voice when out of phase is dispersed and thin lacks a definitive location. If what you hear is reverse of what the test track is telling you, just swap the wires on one speaker and listen again.
2) This way will require the removal of the door panel. Take a 9 volt battery and hook the wires across the terminals. Both cones will move inward or outward depending on which wire is hooked to the positive terminal. When you have both cones moving out or in using + terminal, you're in phase. Use only a 9volt battery! A car battery will launch the cone into space!
