Soooooo mad
SOO mad at myself....Wednesday had to take my father to hospital in Philly to get an operation....my truck of course did not fit in the parking garage and the valet guys would not take it either...parked at a meter only to find that I had gotten a $42 parking ticket because it was 1 hour only parking....then when I found a lot I could get fit in...I mangled my truck trying to fit it though the narrow gate....
sooo mad at myself for trying to even get into there....what a dumb move!!!!!!!!! $600 worth of damage and a parking ticket.....at least my father is recovering well from his surgery....

That does suck, too bad.... Glad to see you dad is ok. Try to make gome good out of the misfortune. May be a good time for an accessory upgrade. You may have a scratch, shopping car dent to take care of, or steps. I dont know what accessories you have, but just an idea.

I really wish I had a small car when things like that happen. I love my CTD & wouldn't trade it for the world.....but when trying to fit into the economy sized parking lots that some edited by admin designed thinking he was going to make more money.....thats really when I want a little car.....maybe a smartcar 3cyl diesel.....

I sympathize with you. My wife crunched the pasenger door hitting a concrete post turning inside a parking garage. To add insult to injury, she took it the body shop used by the dealer and they did a poor job painting the door when I have a friend with a custom car body shop. She was affraid to tell me what happened till it was being repaired.

Well look on the bright side of having a large truck, the safety side of it.
My buddy got a new merc and was going on for about 5 mins on all the safety stuff, after he was done I asked him if it could go though a telle pole at 40 mph and just dent the bumper and hood,he thought I was crazy till I showed him some pict's of what a Dodge can do,he shut up.

Glad your dad is ok.
I looked in your sig and it didnt say anything about a lift or tires. I cant believe the vallet's were afraid of your truck. What a bunch of babies. Ive never had a problem with valet's and I'm in a 4.5" lifted QC with 35's and a NV-5600.
I actually find comedy in watching the valets drive my truck in first gear w/ the smarty on #7
Alot of the time they keep it up front with the nice cars
Sorry about your truck
At least you didnt jacknife a trailer into your bedside at 5am because you forgot you were hooked up from the night before

I'm glad you're Dad's recovering well.
When we have to go into Boston, one of the garages we frequent is too low for the Cummins, so we have to take the wife's car. I wasn't sure if another one we use was high enough, so I posted a note on craigslist asking about this. Someone said his campervan fit in so he guessed it was 7ft, which it was. That site can be a good, maybe even accurate, source of info.
Maybe there's a lot nearby that hospital that is either outside or high enough if you have to return with your CTD.
Best wishes for your Dad.
