I'll have to ask him tomorrow what the deal was. The only thing he put down was the 5500 trade in. He said it was 26 something thousand. Probably after trade in. I asked him yesterday if that was 0% for the life of the loan and he said " I think so." He told me he didin't even test drive it. Who knows. He does seem to stretch things a bit. I'm just not sure how far. He did get it at Dave Smiths.
Here is the kicker. It has barely over 300 miles on it and the check engine light is on. He is really steamed now. The local dealer can't get it in until Saturday. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I feel bad for him though, I really do. He is a good kid and always means well. He just seems to have streaks of bad luck.

Oh yeah, it was two days old to him and he had me welding a hitch onto that thing. He didn't want to pay the dealer 350 to install one and didn't want to wait until Monday. So we bought some materials and fabbed one up. It must have worked well because he used a 2200lbs trailer to haul 4-1500lb bales of hay from the Idaho border to the west side of Spokane. I'll post some pics of the job a little later. It looks pretty good to me, but then my opinion is biased.

I'm not sure I buy the whole 0% interest thing on a 6 year loan. They usually only offer 0% on a short term loans no longer than 3 yrs. I know this, I have perfect credit and the best interest rate I could get anywhere was 5%. I also agree that he must have put more money down, because I put way more money down than that and my payment is $387/mo. And I got a similar deal to the one he got......

He is full of it about the 0% for 6 years. The best interest rate we are offering right now is 4.9% for 5 years on Mega cab, and you have to let DOdge keep the rebate to get it.
