Smashed my drivers side mirror, need replacement
Title says it all... smashed my drivers side mirror yesterday. Couldn't make it up my fathers driveway with the gooseneck because of ice. Started backing down and there is a slight turn while I was negotiating the goose down the drive and around the bend I forgot about the telephone pole... needless to say the pole smashed the he!! out of the mirror. No paint damage just all mirror.
So, where is a good place to purchase a replacement driver side LH Heated power towing mirror for a 2007 2500?

Check with your dealer service dept. When I bought my non-heated towing mirrors for my 2001 the parts guy said the mirrors were $374 per mirror without hardware, or $260 for a set with mounting hardware included.
Yes, I read this VERY carefully, and the numbers are correct. There definitely some crazy pricing schemes.

FWIW I purchased a genuine Mopar replacement Power Heated Towing mirror from an ePay seller of Mopardeals for $166.25. Thought I would post this in case anyone is searching for replacement. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

I smoked my mirror going into my buddy's narrow garage one night and purchased a "used" (probably salvage) MOPAR power, heated, towing mirror off of eBay for around 65.00. The first one they sent me didn't work correctly, so they sent me another one free of charge and told me to keep the first one. Great service and now I've got three right side mirrors.

Go to a good dealer. When the mirrors have any kind of issue (like not always working with the electric controls) rather than troubleshoot they just put a new one as a warrantee repair and toss the old one in a box. They will sell you the take off cheap and you can repair/replace yours with it. When I smashed up my passenger mirror in similar circumstance this is how I fixed it. Cost me under $100.

I broke the left side mirror on Christmas eve I called the dealer to day they say that can get new glass for $85.00 whole works for $425.00 is this right. They used vin # to match up. They could not tell if it had the convex mirror in the corner.

I think its cheaper to buy a new pair at the dealer then just one. Ask for pricing for the pair, then a single. Might surprise you. I found out when I got squeezed and took off the drivers mirror of another ram parked out on the street with my passenger mirror. We found it was cheaper to buy the set.

I got a pair of new repops sent up to Canada for about $200.00 total, power heated/towing and seem to be identical to originals. Found on ebay as well, very happy that I spent less than half of dealer price!
