single wheel 3500's and up

Ok, so I'm not the smartest guy when it comes to things that are probably very obvious, but when did Dodge start making a 3500 without a duelly rear wheel? And what is the difference between my 2500 and say a 3500-5500 with single rear wheels, aside from maybe the size of the overload spring?

2003 is the year that the first 3500 SRW was available ( I believe) and only the 3500's can be SRW, the 4500-5500's will all be duallys

and basically the difference is the overload springs, and the weight rating on the door sticker.

The 03 and I believe 04 3500 SRW's also came with cab clearance lights. Now you can get them w/o.

VikingDiesel https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...=158691&page=2 has a pic of his new 5500 with single rear wheels.

So basically it's the same truck with a much higher price?

That's not a 5500. I think I remember seeing pics of his truck when he first put those badges on it

look to the right of the lady on the right. It looks like a typo from the factory, a misplaced 5 where there should be a 2 or a 3

I just caught that his truck is a 2005, and this is the first year for the 45 and 5500's, wow. Even his sig says it's a 5500 lol.
