A Simple Fix for HID's
I called today after much frustration with my HID's flashing like strobe lights, they told me if I take the power from my park lights(the orange ones in the head light assemb.) It would fix my problem. I do already have the relay that came with the wire harness. Is this power supply from the park lights lower than the main headlights? Would this work, and be a simple fix?

This is the way that I fixed my HID headlights. I purchased a Luminics 9007 harness, VLEDS mounting plates, and 6 ohm 50 watt load resistors. I used the 9007 harness so I would not have the cut into the factory wiring, and the mounting plates for a clean installation. Here are some PICS.
Luminics 9007 wiring harness. Your particular vehicle may require a different harness; however, it will still have the same three wires(high, low, and ground).
VLEDS mounting plates
RL650 6 ohm 50 watt load resistors
You will need 4 load resistors -- 2 resistors for each side(1 high beam and 1 low beam). The resistors are riveted the mounting plate. They are wired to the harness by taking one resistor and connecting one lead to the ground and one lead to the high beam feed, then taking the next resistor and connecting one lead the the ground and one lead to the low beam feed.
Pictures of the completed mounting plate with resistors. Note: The harness is not visible.
Mounting position on the vehicle is directly below the headlight using the outside bolt.
Hopefully this will help everyone out a little. I did this write up because it seemed like a few people had questions.
