thanks for the replies, what do you think is better? hard copy or cd?, bought manuels when I had a ford but the illistrations wern"t to clear, does the cd show better illistrations? thank you

That's just wrong, HOV!
CDs hold up well, and have plenty of detail, but are much harder to use than hard copy.
Even though I keep the '05 CD permanently loaded in one of the optical drives, it's a lot easier to grab the '98 tome from the shelf and leaf through it... and the difference is much more apparent in the shop!

Agree.... Pros & cons to both!
CD is harder to find stuff...but not too bad!
Problem I have with the book is keeping it clean.
CD is less expensive and, as long as you have a good printer, works very well for me! Smug away...there's more where that came from!
