Seat Mod. Warning
About a year ago I did the add some extra foam to the drivers seat and all went well. the other day while cleaning under the passenger seat I found a warning tag that says if the seat is removed the dealer service must reset the pressure sensor for the air bag or injury or death may result, or something like that. Anyone know about this? Everything seems O.K. and the truck works like it always did, no dash lights or warnings of any kind. Do I need to Have the sensor reset?

Only the passenger seat has the sensor. The sensor helps determine if the air bag needs to deploy gently (40 pound 4 year old) or aggressively (330 pound mother in law).

I had the foam issue and the seat back cutting. But I replaced the seats with leathers ones. From what I can tell they are out of a 02 1500. They are not the laramie ones. At least not the 2 one ones. Do I need to have the air bag thing reset?
