TX Tech, I don't understand why you're worried about the seats getting hotter in Houston. If you're in Lubbock, it doesn't get much hotter in Houston in the summer than it does in Lubbock, maybe 3 or 4 degrees.

I also will go along with the wet okole and coverking covers. I have a set of wet okoles in the dodge with about 200k on them. They need to be replaced but they have seen some very serious abuse. Cant imagine what the original fabric would be like had I not had them. The stock seats still look brand new underneath. Also have a set of Okoles in the wifes 4 runner. Actually they are in the second one. They were in the old one and when we bought a new one a couple years ago just moved them over. Fortunately the seats were close enought that they fit right. My little commuter car I put the coverkings in and they are very nice as well.
