I was sitting in line at a coin carwash and decided to tilt the seat back and the lever came off in my hand. The shaft is plastic and I didn't reef on it. It has been cold here 30 below but my truck had been driven about 25 miles and it was warm inside the cab. Has anyone else had this problem? I will be going to my dealer tomorrow.

 

snapped 4 of them in my Jeep Cherokee. Never had a problem with the ones in the Dodge trucks. Dealer was well aware of the problem and always had dozens of the things in stock as they were a constant failure item.

Green Giant I have had three Grande Cherokees a 94 a 96 and I still have a 98 and I never had a problem with them, I went to my dealer this morning and I guess I am the first with a broken shaft on the tilt lever as they do not have one in stock but it is back ordered and they will give me a call as soon as it gets here. And it is on warranty.<br>Jim O

 

I had the XJ Cherokee. You are the first I've seen with a problem on the 03' trucks. Jeff
