seat back lever broke off!
Alright,
I was getting in to my truck on a rainy day and my foot slipped off my nerf bars and my rear end slipped off my seat and landed on the seat reclining lever and snapped it right off. It appears that there is a piece the lever is screwed into that actually is the piece that broke. Does anyone know if I have to dismantle my seat to replace the part? Would this be under warranty? Kind of shocked that it happened since I weigh only about 140 pounds and I didn't even feel a thing when it snapped but then again it is plastic. Word of advice. USE THE HANDLES!

Nobody else has done this? Come on I can't be the only one. I haven't had the opportunity to look at it during the day since it happened and I can't find my flashlight. IS THIS EASY TO FIX without ripping the seat apart? Suggestions welcome.

I think you're a real pioneer on this one. They might replace it under warranty, after they stop laughing at how it got broken. Make sure there isn't a disclaimer anywhere on the seat that reads "Dodge is not responsible for damage to this seat lever resulting from strikes with a projectile posterior".
I did check the section on seats in the service manual, but I couldn't find any way to fix just the lever. You will most certainly have to remove the bottom cushion to see what the lever looks like. It might be that DC calls the seat 1 part number, rather than breaking it out into individual parts (headrest, seat, back, lever, etc.).

Update...
Darn, I lost my reply before I had a chance to post it, so I am going to make this one brief.
Thanks for your help guys. I just got my truck fixed today. Yes, the dealership had to order the whole underseat assembly. It was covered under warranty which was lucky because I am sure that assembly would have been expensive. And to think, I got out of the habit of using the pillar handles because I had heard some people had had them come loose.
