Say it isn't so . . .

There really isn't a sunglasses holder in the overhead of the Laramie?

I just read this over on the TDR forum. I asked my salesman specifically about that when I ordered mine and he said there was. There wasn't a Laramie on the lot, but it seems to me we looked at a 1500 (which he said was the same inside) which had one. I had one on my '99 Durango and I have one on my MDX. I'm sure gonna miss it.

Dodge designers, if you're listening, PUT IT BACK!!!!

Real trucks don't HAVE sunglass holders!

Seriously, my Lariat PSD had one, and I kind of got used to it.

But, I now have 600 lb-ft, and I'm kind of getting used to THAT!

I hang mine from the rearview mirror. Isn't that why it's there?

Buy a $400 pair of sunglasses. You keep them with you ALL the time.

Why are you letting her drive the truck? Put wife proof locks on and you don't have the flying sunglasses issue.

Tried putting mine on the visor and they would always fall off. Put them on the dash and they slide all around. Centerconsole is filled up with all sorts of junk so I have learned to put them on my hat when I am not wearing them, which always leads to taking them off somewhere and losing them.

I just sold my 2002 Ram and now have a 2004.5. I too miss the overhead sunglass holder. Sure there are other places for the glasses but I dont understand why DC changed. I do know that many things that were standard on my 2002 are now options on the 2004.

I use that center cubby hole in the dash near the stereo. It's got some non-slip rubber on the bottom surface. Works great.
