Satellite Radio on the blink

Hey, don't know if y'all have seen this before or heard about it but my satellite Radio is going for some reason. It started up yesterday and it jumped from the -- on the display to 184 back to --. No sound is coming in and after just a bit it starts flipping from -- to the time. It's the stock radio that came with my '07 SLT truck. I've checked on my account and it's still up to date, so that wasn't it.

Any ideas of what to do to start troubleshooting it?

Always a day late, and a dollar short.

Didn't mention that it was hunting for a signal from time to time, so that may rule out the antenna.

Well, it had worked perfectly the day prior. The rest of the functions on the radio work just fine, be it AM/FM/Aux/CD.

I'm not sure that it can be ruled out, actually. Thinking about it some, it seems similar to when I lose the signal from driving under things and losing LOS.

Mine did that but I just thought it was because the one year subscription ran out.

I had problems with mine also. Took it to the dealer, they diagnosed a bad receiver and replaced it under warranty. The receiver is located behind the glove box, IIRC.

Good luck with yours.

Mine did that and it WAS because the subscription ran out.

Now I've got the Sirius people calling my house every few days. I keep telling them I don't want to renew and that I do not want them to call back but they still do. I've also told them the goon that called before them promised not to have them call back but still they do.

So if you don't re-up your Sirius, expect this.

I've started to have fun with them...

I wanted to head into town anyways on Thursday, so I guess I'll stop in the dealership to see if they can figure it out.
