RV socket question

RV socket question
I'm installing disc brakes on my boat trailer and need to install a reverse lockout solenoid. The solenoid is powered by the reverse lights on the truck. IIRC the center pin of the rv plug is for backup lights.
Can anyone confirm the center pin being for BU lights?
Does anyone know if the center pin is wired from the factory?
I'd check it, but with a manual transmission its kinda tough by myself.

Just went and checked mine and it is the center pen and mine was hooked up from the factory.
Check yours
first set the emergency brake
turn key to on but do not start truck
put stick shift in reverse
look at backup light and you should see that they are on
check voltage at center pin and ground
now remove stick shift from reverse to any other position
look at backup lights and you see that they are off
check voltage between the center pin and ground should be no voltage
