It works great no problems
I know if I filled my tank completely full I would get some leakage through the vent cap due to the fuel expanding I would say that's about it

Weird. I looked today and none of my connections are the problem, it looks like it leaking from the top of the tank, hard to see. I just don't get why it did it now. I had never filled up at this station, but I find it really weird. I mean I always wait till the pump clicks off and put easily another 1 sometimes even 2 gallons in. Yesterday it didn't even click off and it was already going out. I know the tank was pretty dang full when it happened though. O well guess I will just see what happens next time I fill up.

Today was good, found out I don't need U-joints and the dumb noise is gone!

Dragging up an old thread here -

I was just curious how you welded the top? Did you weld just all the way around or did you drill holes and plug weld or something?

I welded everything inside and out except the top I welded it outside only and plug welded it to 3/4 tubing for support on top.

Nope and for that reason I have since taken the tank out. Cost too much to fill it up and was taken up my bed space.

I think I drilled a hole in a nipple then welded a half nipple over it in order to make the tee. The barbs are the threads on the nipples.
