resonator removal on megacab
i have a 06' megacab with the cat gutted and muffler delete. it still has the resonator by the rear end. i was wondering what pro's and con's were if i was to remove it. (noise, egt's, hp, turbo whine) thanks in advance for any info.

From what i've read of others experiences, it will drone and drive you nuts at anything above light throttle.
When I did my muffler delete, I left the resonator on.
I'm glad I did.

I left the CAT and the resonator. The back pressure on the CAT is not enough to make any difference in fuel mileage, plus, when traveling from state to state in those that require the CAT, no ticket for it being gone.
Nice plesant sound, no drone when the resonator is in place.
