Unhappy Replacing Passenger Mirror

I searched the archives and could not find anything about how to get the door panel off so I could replace my passengers outside mirror. Any help would be appreciated. Not an emergency.

I see that there is a single phillips head that loosens the cover piece over all the bolts and the electrical connection. But there is something holding the bottom and I don't want to get forceful with it.

Insights!!?

Thanks!

I had to replace the tow mirrow in my '03 and as you said there is one screw and several plastic fasteners that will let door panel pop out if you pry a little[bottom] then raise the panel up and that will let the panel be pulled back enough to get at the three nuts on the arm. If you have the tow mirrows the arm doesn't have to come off the truck to change the glass. Mirrows can be found at burcoinc.com...........JIM

Thanks!! I'll look at that tomorrow. I saw some screws at the bottom, but wanted to check before taking it apart.

A new mirror would help, but I also broke the arm (Hit a delivery truck with the mirror)

You don't have to pull the door panel off to replace the mirror, just that bolt at the top and then pull it back far enough to loosen the 3 nuts holding the mirror in place.

I just wedged the top of the panel with a block of wood,so I could get a socket in there.Very easy.I put tow mirrors on after I smashed the passenger side on a dumpster on a jobsite.
