Will the remote start wait for the glow plugs to cycle?

The remote start is wired into the WTS light. So, yes, it will wait for the heater grid to cycle, not the glow plugs.

89 and 90 models.You can rig a hand control cable up on newer trucks.I have one but haven't finished hooking it up.

I use a Viper with a turbo timer. This is my second Viper and they work great.

With the 6 speed wont you have to bypass the clutch switch?I would hate to see it start in gear.You were talking about temps in the 10 and 20 range the high idle would kick in to raise rpm up to a 1000.

I always plugged my truck in('97), was hard to start below 40*~, but then again it doesnt get that cold here in texas for more than a month or two...
If I didnt have it plugged in, it was NOT going to start...
Always helped to have heat when I hopped in it too

Need to get a cord for my '05.

If you want a nice and warm truck. Then you need to purchase a Espar heater. That taps into your fuel line and will keep the motor warm and interior if you would like it to. Lovely device but I don't own one....yet. Some day.

Whenever I step out of my truck and leave it running. I always turn on the High Idle feature to prevent Wash Down of the cylinders. Plus it helps so it doesn't show that I have EXCESSIVE IDLE time if it ever goes to the dealer.
