Relay or something hammering/buzzing on 06
Hello all,
I've got a 2006 2500 regular cab, and the last 3 days, when I put the key in the ignition, I get the usual buzz from what I guess would be the key authenticator. But, after that buzz, whether taking the key in or out, there is an erratic hammering noise coming from under the dash towards the windshield in the center after the regular key buzz. It sounds like a small relay hammering, but I just don't have a clue where or what it is. I have done absolutely no mods nor do I have the radio or HVAC on when this happens.
I hate for the dealership to take the dash apart and not really know what it is and make the dash rattle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
