I got the quad for resale. Things are a pain to park. I went to dinner today at the mall and my long bed was 3 feet over the parking space. I wish it was a standard cab 95% of the time. I really feel for the mega cab folks as its on the same frame! I drive my reg cab 95 almost every time I am in town and save the new truck for long interstate cruises. There is planty of room in the cab of a std cab if you dont have kids and use it for comuting to work. Just put a tool box in the bed if you carry alot of stuff around.

My 03 was a reg cab and i traded it in for this quad cab. The reg cab was really nice but i just needed more room, back of the reg cab kept getting cluttered and my dog got bigger. I love driving around my QC LB, i don't have much problems with it, course i love big trucks too. After driving around a friends ford, im happy with mine, his ford took a football field to turn!

I wish I had a Reg. cab every time I have to drive in small streets or park. The steering on these trucks locks so early, it's impossible to park with cars next to you without doing a 3 point turn. I just back into parkins spaces, it's much easier.

I promise you if I can get by with my regular cab, anyone should be able to. I carry around more junk than the average person. I had a CC ford and bought this dodge because I like the look of it and didnt need the CC. I have been very pleased so far. There is plenty of room behind the seat. I can slide the seat back all the way and it has way more room than my ford did. I should also note that I dont have a family though so no kids. I think if you have kids a CC is going to be a must before the better half will let you buy one. Me and my girl take mine every where and she always coments on how much room it has for log trips. Throw the luggage behind the seat and we're good. Taking it to Orland in a couple of months.

A Quad Cab short bed is no longer than a regular cab long bed (the only way it comes unless you want a 1500).

Not having children or a dog,the reg.cab. with all that behind the seat storage and 8' bed works out super for the wife and me. I park this sucker anywhere, first try. Minimal "Arizona Pinstripes" offroad too!

I like mine also. And so does Dmax!!! I think he's holding mine for a ransom or something . One thing most don't think about is it keeps people from asking for rides all the time. It usually goes like this. "Hey everyone's hungry lets get something to eat. Oh you got a reg. cab and nobody wan't to ride, so we'll just take the car". I love it I always get a free ride whenever more than 2 people want to go somewhere.
