Redline Diesel Performance is the best!

Thanks for the referals, Redline Diesel Perf in Corona, CA is the best. THey installed a Pac brake for me today and what good crew!!! Very efficient and they know their stuff.. Thought I would pass it along!

Also, thank you PTgarcia on these boards for offering to help me with the install, but with our schedules it was going to be a while for us to meet up to do it, but thanks a bunch again!

Hey Monty, glad to hear you got it installed. Also glad to finally hear something about that shop.

So what do you think about that brake?

I LOVE the brake!! Owner is a real nice young kid with lots of Training in Ford, Dodge, Duramax, and other engines. You name it, they do it! I was most impressed with the attention to DETAIL they do. Install went fairly quick then they wrapped every wire and bundled them all up. Looks total FACTORY. They have been featured in lots of Magazines as well.

The brake is nice, I love that you BARELY let off the accelerator and it slows down. That Low rumble under the hood is great as well. Pretty sweet that when you do come to a complete stop, it disengages itself.. I am very happy! Tomorrow I am pulling the trailer to NORCO then off to a rodeo in Central Calif on Friday night. Will be my first experience with the grapevine!!

The grapevine is nothing, and you'll love driving over it, with the pacbrake!

After reading all the threads re: lift pumps on 3rd gens I called Redline. They didn't seem very up to date on the issue. They recommend I keep the stock pump. Either the posters on here and other forums are wrong about the engine mounted lift pumps being a problem or ........... Until I can find a shop closer to home I'm going to stick with Browns Diesel.

First thing I noticed in their shop and walls was they do a heavy number of Duramax engines. The owners however drive dodges and their are a quite a few dodge trucks around there. LOLOL I have only used them for this experience so was just passing some info along. I love Amrica, we all have choices!

Clyde is the man at Redline. He has years of experience in diesel performance and a very solid reputation in So-cal. He does not sell you anything you don't need.

Based on his sig on another site, he drives an '06 CTD too.

Clyde is doing my gauges tomorrow. Will be really neat to have those as well. I drive over 50 miles to his shop from my place, very well worth the drive.

Everything in my sig was built at Redline. Clyde, from the beginning gave me the entire list of what we would do with my 12 valve. We started with the tranny to hold the power, then gauges, exhaust, fuel plate, turbo and KDP. Then we installed injectors, fuel delivery valves and GSK for the fuel. This all started when I was on my way to Pismo towing my 5er (dry) and we could only reach 19 mph on a rather steep grade. We thought we were gonna roll backwards. Now that grade is no problem holding strong near 70 mph. Ya, Redline Diesel is the BEST!!! Clyde and Alex are very knowledgeable and cool
