Rebates and the 600

Drove the new 600 today at two differenent dealers and didn't feel anything diffenent over the 555 in performance. Still the same great truck but with a slightly higher price. But what I did find out was that one dealer was claiming a $3250. rebate with 0% financing for 48months, giving back $500. of the rebate and the other dealer had the same deal except he was sticking to his guns about the amount being $2500.. Thought I'd throw this ? out there for you panel of experts. thanks

I'm getting the $2000 + 0% for 48 months. This seems to be pretty standard right now for many DC products, including these Rams.

Check the dodge site $2500 for 3/4 and 1 ton or $2000 and 0% for 48 months. On the 1/2 ton there is an additional $750 available, that must be where one dealer is getting $3250 rebate. $2500+$750=$3250

Are you military? I think they still have a $750 military discount, too. Plus the $2500. But that would mean no 0%. Straight from the Dodge website is $2500 or $2000 + 0% for 48 months.

I myself would probably have a new truck by now but I truly hate shopping for vehicles. You can go from one dealer to the other and have anywhere from 2 to 5 grand difference.

Its a very frustrating experience

I've got to agree with you there Scubasteve. I don't even like going to dealerships during the day because they usually swarm all over you as soon as you step on the lot. I like the ones who let me just look by myself and leave me alone; if I have questions, I'll ask.

I'm going to have to ask about the military discount. I've never seen any info on it though. I've got 3 months left in so I can put my status to good use.
