Rear end stepping out on bumps

I've had many trucks that do this so I am aware of the normalcy due to light weight of the rear end, but lately my truck seems more prone to it.

Anyone have suggestions on what may be the culprit or tips on how to lessen it?

Shocks are fine, tires are at lower pressures that I have always run.

Since you qualify this as "lately" indicating that it hadn't done it before, I am at a loss as to why now....

However, I can tell you that the sulastic shackles do reduce that and associated "chatter" over small sharp edged bumps by a fair amount and smooth the ride.

Ya, it's always done it to a degree, all my trucks have so I'm used to it. But just in the past month or so it seems I'm stepping out much more easily/frequently.

I'll look into shackles, what about ladder bars or traction bars? Are those primarily for wheel hop only?

After reading some threads I think I'm going to check my tire pressures to be sure. My last rotation was done by someone new at Les Schwab and although I have my pressures listed on my file he may not have followed it.

Reading some Carli/Thuren comments I may even be able to increase my ride further, I run 55/45 empty, sounds like I can run as low as 40/35.

I have 12k-15k left on my tires.

Haven't had time to check pressures (at work) but I'm pretty sure it'll be the problem.
