Real Bumpers
Anyone know if Ranchhand has bumpers for the 03s yet? Or any other bumpers, that aren't all "pretty" like reunel or road armor.

Re:Real Bumpers
How do you mean - "pretty"? I've been looking into bumpers in anticipation of upcoming truck purchase. Is there anything wrong with the Reunel or Road Armor units structurally? Or are you just looking for something less expensive?
Chris

Re:Real Bumpers
I don't think there is anything wrong structurally, its just a looks thing for me. They're too rounded, and I prefer something alot more "manly" looking. I'm sure Reunel is a nice bumper, if you wanna pay up and over 1k for a front bumper and 800 for a rear bumper with 2 Piaa lights. I just want something to protect the truck..not look like a lil city boy riding around in Daddys truck( and around here there is enough of em )

Haha that new one looks ugly as fock. Think they added enough useless tubing up front? not to mention it doesn't extend out far enough to serve any real use, as in protecting you from actually hitting something like a tree, or another truck

Re:Real Bumpers
Well, by not wanting something pretty, I just want a simple bumper that serves a purpose. To keep trees or small cars from going through the radiator. I prefer the Ranchhand bumpers since they are simple, yet very strong. They aren't all rounded and blended in like the Reunel bumpers are. And as far as the Road Armor, thats just sick to see something like that on a truck. Bet all that tubing will fold nicely into the hood if you slid into a tree....

Re:Real Bumpers
Still to "pretty". It doesn't stick out from the front end enough for me, plus it hangs down real low....If Ranch Hand doesn't make one, I'll just fab my own....

Re:Real Bumpers
Not sure why I called it "Baja", except that it looks like other called Baja.
It's actually the Bullnose which I was speaking of.
http://www.ranchhand.com/frontbumperbullnose.htm

Less "rancher" looking than the original style, and you can still get the recevier hitch on the front.

Actually....it's $800 not including the PIAA lights. But then again, it'll haul 15,000 lbs. :
