Razor-Sharp Tail Pipe
Geez - anyone else notice their tail pipe has a razor-sharp edge on it? The dang thing nearly got me good when I was trying to clean it after a good wash the other day..

The tail pipe is at just the right height to easily injure one of the grand kids who might run or fall into it. So, I took some sandpaper and dulled the edges.

Best to y'all
Bill

;D Heh heh heh - there's one in every crowd. ;D

Seriously, though - my tailpipe had a leading edge with little serrations that would make a steak knife pale in comparison. And, the height of my tailpipe is just about at face level for a small child on a big wheel.

Best to y'all
Bill

Re:Razor-Sharp Tail Pipe
I don't have any sharp edges on my tailpipe, but didn't like the soot all over the fender and bumper, so I had a tailpipe extension installed tha directs the exhaust downward. That cured most of the proplem, now there's just a little soot on the bottom of the fender. It doesn't wrap up around the side like it used to.
