Radio removal: '06 MC Automatic CTD Bucket Seats - I can't figure this out
I have a '06 Mega Cab bucket seats automatic 3500. How in the world do you get the radio out of this thing?
I have removed the knee panel under the steering wheel, the sheet metal cover under that, more screws, and then some and I can't seem to make any real progress.
I just recieved the iPod module from Dodge P/N 82209616AC per another thread, I am just assuming this thing will work with my radio, and I need that radio out.
Help?
I have read the other threads in the forum but they sound much different than what I have on my '06 MC bucket seat edition.

Found this thread through google here. http://www.dodgeforum.com/m_361265/tm.htm
FYI you have to yank the freekn wood grain top off. Where the wood grain of the center console meets the rear center console, it is a PAIN to get off but if you yank hard enough, it will get loose.
I made it to the two hidden screws under the seat warmers. After that, I am lost. What next? I can't get past this point.
TIA

I got that far, see my second post. I can't figure out what to do when I get the console out.
Btw, the bucket seat autos have a little different route to get the console out. They are not near as easy as everyone elses.

I have a 6 sp and the process is basically the same. There are two screws that come up from underneath that attach the bottom of the radio trio to the rest of tha dash. FWIW you do not have to put those two screws back in, the trim will all stay in place. Also, I am curious about this module you are putting in. Why not go the easy route and just get a 1/8 plug adaptor cable?
