Radio bezel removal???

Hi everyone. I'm getting an iPod interface for my factory radio in my 2008 ram.
Can anyone show me how to remove the bezel to get to the head unit?

Thanks
Donald

A lot depends on the interior trim, of course. But essentially, you start removinfg things at the very bottom. On my truck, there's a floor console that incorporates the 4x4 lever. I had to start there and remove that first.

Then work your way up until you get to two screws that enter the radio bezel from the very bottom. Then you have to gently pry the bezel straight out.

I did a google search and found detailed instructions on a stereo installation site.

yes, and I chose to leave those 2 screws out for the next time it has to come off. I almost broke my dash because of them!!

Also, on the floor console, there are a couple screws that are hard to see. Keep looking for screws until it comes up easily.

Here you go Donald

And yes, leave the screws out, it wont rattle, and you just gotta pull the bezel off to get at the radio if needed.

Blake,

Do you know how to get to the A/C vent on the pass side? I got to remove my radio bezel because both my inner vents are broken, and now my pass outside vent broke the other day.

I need to remove my dash as well. My AC doors are all messed up like everyone else and I figured I'd change the radio while I had everything apart. I appreciate the PDF in this thread. I have a manual transmission though. Do you have to remove the shift boot or can you just work the center console off around it like on the t-case boot?
