Questions on the 6.7

Hello folks,

Well I had not planned on getting a new truck but with the current rebates I can get into a new 08 6.7 auto Slt 4x4 CC for less money than my 03 I bought in 04.

Will the K&N drop in filter I have on my 04.5 5.9 drop into the 6.7 airbox?

Do you guys run the 6.7 with the exhaust brake on all the time? city? highway? pulling?

How's the wiring for trailers on the back? any different?

Any known issues with the early built 08s? I thought I would have them flash and check for updates prior to picking her up.

What kind of mileage are you guys getting running empty at 80 mph with the auto tranny?

Thanks,

Garry

Momma's getting a new 1 ton for christmas, no more shifting for her.

The drop in will fit,but pull it out before you take it in for warranty work, the 7 way harness is the same as your old 03,and the newest software is a good idea.I see less issues on the 08's than the 07's
Fuel mileage will be pretty poor at 80mph,but they do run nice and the 6 spd auto is fun to drive in tow/haul with the e brake on and using the shift switch.
