I believe you will get 10" of travel up front and 11" of travel in the rear with the fox shocks. My brother and I both have the chase systems with the bilstein shocks on our 3500's(my an 03 his is 05)and really am happy with the performance. In fact my brother lives just down the road from you in Oakview.

ricky,
I'm ordering either a Chase or Race next week. Do you know which system has the more plush ride? I won't be thrashing the truck like KORE and DRC do, so I'm thinking the Chase will be fine, but I want the one that is the smoothest.
I have an 05 2500 LWB.

The race will give you the best ride, it's a big heavy truck and you NEED the bigger shocks to handle it! I know the kit works well, I rode in Kent's truck before he caged it and ran the score 1000! I just think that it's overpriced, so I'm doing my own. KORE is like the ferrari of the dodge suspension, beautiful, works great, but expensive as hell! But, you can take a cheap a$$ 440coronet and do just as well on the strip! The front shocks alone for the fox's are like $600+ and for the rear you're looking at $1200+. And for the rest you're paying $3000+ for a set of coils and basically an AAL, and some shock mounts.
ricky3, I've never seen his 3500, like 99% of the people around here have F250's with like 20" of lift! It'd be nice to see a nice CTD out there! What size tires does he run? Do you have any pics of his truck?

Desert Ram:
the following link is from another website that Kent Kroeker responded on. Gives a great explanation of how and why his system is what it is and the asscoiated costs. It also talks about the shock length I think that you are looking for. May give you some additional info for your diy setup.
His lengthy reply is on page 2 or 3.

Dirteater, like desertram800 said the race system will give the best ride. the chase system works very well at providing a smooth ride, but not as good as the fox shocks would provide. I called kore to see how much just the fox shocks for my truck would be and was quoted $2,000...kinda steep as my chase system was $2500 total with the mini pacs.
Desertram800, no I don't have any pics of mine or my brothers, need to get on the ball and get my pics organized, but he is driving a silver 3500 4 door long bed and is running the stock polished 5 spokes with 35" bfg mud terrain tires.

I'll definetly keep an eye out for a silver 3500!
BTW, I'm not trying to bash KORE, I wish I could afford his kit, it's just more than most people can or are willing to spend. Kent and his team are an inspiration to me for what I want to do with my truck, I just believe that I can set my truck up to handle just as well for less money. And thanks for that link to the racedezert.com forum, kent sure cleared up the fact that the kit "we" buy is NOT the same as the one he completed the baja 1000 with. Similar yes, the same, no. And Kent, your truck is the number one reason I stayed with dodge when I traded in my 1500. Remember, you actually drove my POS white 1500. Well I traded it in for an '05 2500 CTD! I hope to see you sometime out there in the dirt!
