Is Carli offering some sort of warranty that's better then just replacing the parts if they break? I mean for that price, if the ball joint needs to ever be replaced IMO they should do something for the time to replace it.

I am seriously considering them when I need ball joints, but the price is sure a hinderance. I mean i've got almost 80k on my stock ball joints, and they are still holding up fine, so it's tough to justify the huge price, unless I know the Carli's will still be fine 10 years down the road, and probably another 150k miles.

And really, if your pulling everything apart for U-joints anyway, what's another hour to replace ball joints? And i'm sure Moog's would get like 80-90k? So replacing ball joints once more over the life of the truck doesn't seem that bad?

Either you drive too easy or your B/Joints are worse than you think

I see them shot under 30 k routinely.I have years on my Carli joints many miles pre running and chasing in Baja as well as up here in the states.
Very few will do their own so the labor savings will be huge for most

The stockers only laster 25k on our '07. It has Moogs now. We'll see how long they last with the front end set up right and getting greased once in awhile. Probably alot longer. How long? We'll see....

Truck doesn't go offroad, and I don't tow often. The last 20k miles have been rougher since i'm running 37" tires now though. I haven't checked them to much myself, but had an alignment done last fall, and maybe put on 4k miles since. But i'm going to need axle shaft U-joints soon, so probably want to do ball joints at the same time. And i'm sure my ball joints aren't to far behind now. Just really can't swing over $1000 right now for a front end, Moog would make it a lot more affordable, but I also don't want to redo them in a year or so. Decisions decisions...
