Question about Ball Joints?

Anybody ever use the Raybestos Brand Ball Joints?? They would cost me less than $275.00 for all 4! MOOG was priced at $425.00...money is tight just trying to save where I can. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about them. One thing I've learned is you get what you pay for. (generally)

I'm in the same boat...

If they are grease-able what's the worst that could happen? They'd at least be better than stock.

Each set of my OEMs have lasted 35k miles. If I would've greased them with a needle fitting I may have been able to double that, who knows?

I guess it depends on how long you're going to keep your truck too, and if you're going to change them yourself or pay $omeone else every time they go bad. Just some food for thought, but I'm leaning toward a less-expensive but name brand (perhaps with warranty) grease-able set.

Ok found a deal on some MOOG, one problem...they have the lowers in stock, uppers on back order, not in stock in any of their mid west stores or warehouses!! Just when I finally found them for under $270.00 and greaseable!

I bought the upper and lower Moogs at O'rielly's for $400. They had them in stock.

Lasting 60 k on a stock truck that hardly ever goes off road is no my def. of lifetime waranty! The carli ball joints are a lifetime quality ball joint , and eaven if u had to rebuild them u just unscrew the upper portion and slide in new pin no pressing new one in and out! When the lowers come out i am buying a set and will never worry about ball joints again! I run my trucks to 500k or more so im in for the longhaul!
