Problem with interior lights

Problem with interior lights
I had to remove the interior headliner the other day to my '04' dually 4 dr., and dis-connected the electrical harness that connects to the dome lamps, visor vanity mirrors, etc.. But since I put it all back together the interior lamps are no longer functioning properly. I'm absolutely certain I connected all the connectors properly, but the interior dome lamps won't go on when I depress the lenses. The dome lamps work fine when I turn the interior dome light switch on, and when I open the doors, but not when depressing them individually. Also, the mirror vanity lamps don't work now, but they did before. I thought dis-connecting the battery to reset the computer might solve this problem, but apparently it hasn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sounds like you didn't connect or lost the connection from the interior dome light to ground. There is normally 12V supplied to the light at all times and by grounding the other side of the bulb, either through a switch at the light or the door or headlight switch you can turn them on.

Recheck all your connectors to make sure you got the locking tabs in tight. I think everything up there is live 12V and switched grounds. So look for a dangeling wire somewhere.
