Prices on new mega-cabs?? Full MSRP??

I'm in the process of wheelin' and dealin' on a new Jeep Commander Hemi 4x4 and the salesperson is telling me that they are getting full MSRP for both the mega cabs and the Commanders, now I don't believe this at all. Does anyone have any info they want to share on their purchase experience on either vehicle?? Thanks!

Try another Dealer...I would not pay MSRP for a Mega cab. I was talking to my Dealer and looks like they would be able to knock off at least $ 7 K to start....probably more depending on how you worked the deal.

There are two dealers (among about 15) around here that have 1000 OVER MSRP!

....."you know sir, these are the biggest cab and the newest...so there is a premium".................

...uh....yeah sure....uh-huh....ok.......BS!

Invoice can be had if you try hard enough and pester them long enough.

I bought mine on 12/10 (still grinning) @ Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, ID for 3% under invoice! That is the price on all Dodge's on the lot! Saved me a ton of $$ and I finally have a truck!!!

I took one home last week for a test drive. I almost bought it, but felt I was getting robbed on trade (They were only going to give me 19k for my 04.5 that is 1 year old).

Based on my experience, you should have no problem getting one for at least invoice minus rebates.

I bought mine for ~ 37,000 MSRP was $44,329. One dealer in town would not bargin so I went to the other. They matched Dave Smith's (famous low cost Idaho internet dealer) with in $200.
